Serving the under served in our community and giving a hand up to those in need

Community Evangelism

Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing. You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
Acts 20:32-35

OUTREACH MINISTRY

Serving the under served in our community and giving a hand up to those in need

Those involved in community evangelism lead the church in collecting clothing, shoes, personal hygiene items and stuffed animals to be distributed by various ministry programs serving the under employed and under served. Collection bins are placed in various locations around the church to receive donations. In addition to collections, Macland serves alongside 70+ organizations for different events and programs. Events take place in May and July (serving 3,000-4,000 people), and by an invitation only Christmas party (serving 1500-1700 people). Event volunteers provide Bibles and Eternal Life witnessing tracts, and strive to pray for each individual or family who attends.

"Had a couple new to the area and new to Macland who worked with us at the Thanksgiving Dinner with the Community event as well as the Maximum Impact Love Christmas Party last year and she was so excited to share the love of Jesus with everyone she met. Her excitement and joy at being able to witness and share the love of Jesus with so many was uplifting to all who met her or came anywhere near where she was. It was a joy to behold." —Donna Watson
